Like many other great ventures in the world of travel, Akbar Travels of India also had a small beginning in the year 1978. The phenomenal success of the travel agency is on account of the vision and leadership of the Founder/Chairman & Managing Director Mr. K.V. Abdul Nazar.

Akbar Travels of India is the largest Travel Agent in India in terms of IATA approved Branches, staff strength and business turnover. Currently, there are 55 IATA and 25 non- IATA Branches all over India serving our customers. There are Akbar Travels of India branch offices in all major cities in India and abroad . Akbar Travels is the largest issuer of air tickets in south East Asia according to IATA statistics.

In 2000, Akbar Travels of India started Car rental Services. Today, we have car rental services at Metro and other major cities viz like Mumbai, Bangalore, Mysore, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Bhopal, Pune, Trivandrum, Calicut, Cochin and Delhi etc with fleet of 650 cars and got the popularity and goodwill by the esteemed services we ever given to our Corporate clientsand customers.

Akbar Travels of India car rental services launched its online Portal, Akbarcab.com, in 2015. The portal has been successfully assisting the passenger to book cabs for Outstation trips, Local use, Airport Transfer and also providing all type of passenger Ground Transport package at discounted rate.
